πŸŽ“ Tutorial: Creating Your First Persistent Character

In this tutorial, you'll learn Studio Fury's core philosophy: "Create once, use forever". We'll generate a character, save it, and make it ready for use in multiple scenes.

🎯 Objective

Generate "Kael," a futuristic warrior, and save his .fury asset so you never have to generate it again.

Step 1: Initialize the Project

  1. Add a Project Manager node.

  2. Connect your favorite Checkpoint (Model) and VAE.

  3. In the project_name field, type: Academia_Fury.

This will automatically create the /output/StudioFury/Academia_Fury/ folder.

Step 2: Define the Entity

  1. Add an Add Entity node.

  2. Connect the BUS output of the Project Manager to the charged_bus input of the Add Entity.

  3. Configuration:

entity_id: Kael_Warrior (This will be the file name).

entity_type: character.

scene_orientation: Select Portrait (9:16).

  1. Prompts:
  • Use the Advanced Prompt node to create a detailed description and connect it, or type directly into the text widget.

Step 3: The Director Engine

  1. Add the Director Engine node.

  2. Connect the bus coming from Add Entity to the Director's input.

  3. Set quality_preset to HD (720px) for a quick test.

  4. Connect the MODEL output of Checkpoint to the Director.

Step 4: Smart Save

  1. Add the Smart Saver node.

  2. Connect the bus coming from the Director Engine (the bus passes through the Director and carries the results).

  3. Make sure save_action is set to SAVE.

πŸš€ Run!

Click the Queue Prompt button.

  1. You will see the Project Manager start the system in the console.

  2. The Director Engine will generate Kael.

  3. The Smart Saver will save Kael_Warrior.png (for viewing) and Kael_Warrior.fury (for use).

🏁 Result

Go to your ComfyUI/output/StudioFury/Academia_Fury/Characters/ folder.

There's Kael! Now you can delete all spawn nodes and use an Asset Loader to instantly summon Kael in your next compositing stream.
