Hayai is a direct TachiyomiJ2K fork. J2K is the architectural parent, TachiyomiSY is the reference for E-Hentai and related adult-source behavior, Tsundoku is the novel-reader reference, and LNReader defines the supported JavaScript extension ecosystem.

• Upstream feature audit
• Localization guide

Keep feature work behind Hayai-owned contracts and make the smallest necessary adapter change to J2K. Do not copy application code from the legacy Hayai branch. Record upstream provenance when rebuilding behavior from SY or Tsundoku.

Before handing off a coherent change, run the relevant focused tests and the repository's boundary and localization checks. A foundation or audit is not a completed port; update the feature audit using the repository's precise status terms.
