E-Hentai and ExHentai

Hayai rebuilds its E-Hentai and other adult-source behavior from TachiyomiSY while retaining J2K's manga and reader foundations.

Setup

1. Enable adult-source features in Hayai's settings.
2. Open Settings > Advanced > E-Hentai and ExHentai.
3. Use public E-Hentai without an account, or sign in when ExHentai access is required.

ExHentai access depends on a valid account and cookies. Never share cookie values, exported logs containing them, or screenshots that expose session information.

Gallery details and previews

Current builds support the gallery metadata layout, tags, page count, rating, uploader, preview pagination, and sprite-based thumbnails used by the current site. Preview requests share the authenticated session when the gallery requires it, and cached metadata is reconciled with fresh network results.

If previews show no results:

1. Confirm the gallery opens in your normal browser and that your account can view it.
2. Recheck the saved credentials or cookies.
3. Refresh the gallery details and previews.
4. Wait before retrying if the site is rate-limiting requests.
5. Report the gallery URL and a redacted log if the problem continues.

Public, logged-out navigation is covered by the current verification run. Authenticated ExHentai behavior still depends on your account, network, and the site's current access rules.
