Presets and kits
PRESETS… sets your hero up in one go. Each preset says what it will change before you apply it, and nothing is written to the game until you press Save to game.
| Preset | What it does |
|---|---|
| Most money | Fills your emeralds and Echo Shards, and adds the talisman that brings extra emeralds |
| Most XP | Adds The Eye of Experience, which gives up to 10% more XP |
| Best loot | Adds the talismans and gear that bring more drops and better rarity |
| Upgrade my gear | Makes every weapon and armor piece you own Unique and every artifact Special, at the power you choose |
| Fully upgraded town | Takes the Merchant, the Enchantsmith and the Blacksmith to their top level |
| Every minecart station | Adds every minecart station players' saves have shown the editor to the ones your hero has found, so you can ride to them. The game's own achievement for finding every station is left alone, so a station added here may not count towards it |
| Secret talisman hunt | The eight talismans tied to the game's secret quest |
The best melee weapon, ranged weapon, armor, artifacts and talismans, each as its own preset.
Six complete loadouts, built from published builds: Melee damage, Greatbow sharpshooter, Close-range crossbow, Humbler tank, Soul caster and Companion support.
A kit adds its weapons, armor, artifacts and talismans, and can equip them. Its gear gets effects the game can roll on each piece. Once your hero has unlocked the Enchantsmith, every weapon and armor piece also gets an enchantment: the one the build names where the editor can write it, and otherwise the editor's own pick for that kind of gear, a different one on each piece. The kit adds the books of the build's own picks too, so the Enchantsmith offers them.
- Stay close to your level. Very high power or level may be undone by the game.
- A Unique from a kit comes with the effect of its own. See Effects and Best for.
- If you already own an item a preset would add, it uses yours.
