Guide A network folder WebDAV
The Local tab also shows folders shared on your network over WebDAV: from a NAS (Synology,
QNAP), Nextcloud, or a computer or Raspberry Pi running rclone (rclone serve webdav).
Settings › Content › Network folders › Add a network folder: its address, like
http://192.168.0.50:8080/media (https:// too), then the user name and password it asks for,
if any. They're kept on the TV and sent only to that folder.
A folder whose https:// certificate it made itself (no known authority signed it) is asked
about first: Trust this certificate shows its fingerprint, and StremioK then accepts that
certificate only, for that folder. A new one is asked about again.
- As a USB drive: browsing, matching to titles, its index (Index this folder), the hold-OK menu, plain files, and subtitle files next to a video. Its sources are On your network folder.
- Played straight from the folder (not converted), so it must be a format the TV plays.
- Not: downloads to it, or the file hash subtitle addons use to find ones made for it.
OK on a folder in Settings › Content › Network folders: Turn off (its sources set aside, its index kept; Turn on brings them back), Index again, or Remove.
