The Reactor Hatch is an essential structural component of the Vibranium Nuclear Reactor multi-block structure. It serves as the primary physical access point to feed Vibranium Dust into a connected Reactor Core and retrieve Depleted Vibranium Ingots produced during operation.
The Reactor Hatch requires a Diamond Pickaxe to harvest correctly . If broken while containing items, it drops its inventory contents onto the ground.
- Active Lit State: The hatch dynamically updates its visual lit state when connected to an active Reactor Core and loaded with Vibranium Dust in its fuel slot.
- Structure Integration: Replaces one of the outer Reinforced Vibranium Glass casing blocks in the 3×3×3 reactor structure.
- Core Detection Radius: The hatch automatically scans a 2-block radius (a 5×5×5 volume around itself) to locate and bind to a Reactor Core.
- Interaction Check: Interacting with a hatch that is not linked to an active core will prevent the interface from opening and display an error message.
The hatch contains a 2-slot internal inventory supporting automation via hoppers, conduits, or pipes:
