Vibranium Grass Block
Vibranium Grass Block is a vibrant, purple-colored grass variant infused with residual vibranium energy. It serves as the main surface block in vibranium ecosystems, capable of spreading to adjacent dirt and naturally spawning vibranium-compatible vegetation.
Vibranium Grass Block can be mined using any tool with silk-touch, though a shovel is the most efficient. Like vanilla grass blocks, breaking it without silk touch drops Vibranium Dirt.
Vibranium Grass Block requires proper conditions to survive. It will decay and turn back into Vibranium Dirt if:
- It is submerged under water.
- A light-blocking (opaque) block is placed directly above it.
When illuminated by a light level of 9 or higher, Vibranium Grass Block periodically attempts to spread during random ticks:
- Vibranium Dirt: Converts surrounding Vibranium Dirt blocks into Vibranium Grass Blocks.
- Vanilla Dirt & Grass: Has a small (2%) chance to convert adjacent vanilla Dirt blocks directly into Vibranium Grass Blocks, or into vanilla Grass Blocks otherwise.
When receiving sufficient light or when Bone Meal is applied:
- It continuously attempts to grow compatible plants from the
#vibranium:vibranium_vegetationblock tag above itself. - Special flowers, such as the Heart-Shaped Herb, have a small chance to spawn during this process.
- It exerts an active fertilizing effect on crops planted on or near it, boosting growth rates.
Using a hoe on Vibranium Grass Block converts it into Vibranium Farmland. Due to the active residual vibranium particles trapped inside the soil, crops planted on this farmland—or adjacent to Vibranium Dirt—experience accelerated growth through its ambient fertilizing effect.
