Reactor Outlet
The Reactor Outlet is a fluid management block designed to automatically eject hot fluids—specifically Hot Water produced by an active Reactor Core—directly into the world environment. It functions as a specialized FluidTankEntity capable of purging coolant fluids into open air or existing water bodies without requiring connected storage tanks.
The Reactor Outlet requires a Diamond Pickaxe to be harvested correctly.
The outlet processes its fluid payload on every server tick, attempting to drain 100 mB per tick if it contains fluid. It first validates the target block directly in front of it.
Fluids will only be ejected if the target block is either Air or a Water (Vanilla or Hot Water) block that is connected to at least one adjacent water block (it cannot eject into an isolated, single water block).
If the target block is solid or an invalid single water block, the ejection fails, and the fluid remains stored safely inside the outlet's internal tank.
