Day 4 - Notes & Details:

To me, the 4rth day of the residency was the most intensive one and the most overall exhausting one which required immense focus and precision to get soldering, laser cutting and circuit testing done. Again, like the previous day we looked at another video explaining the essence of open-sourcing and we learnt how open sourcing can also help makers get inspirations and build on existing ideas. 11:00 marked the start of our prototyping work again and this time we first started with testing our WS2812 LED Rings individually before moving on to the soldering.

Soldering took a major chunk of time where we had to not only solder all RGB rings in 90, 75, 60, 50 cm dimensions but also do the same for the piezo electric sensors and also for connecting each wire to the zero PCB board. We also looked at different ways we can go around making adjustments to the prototype by changing the layers and also laser cutting the frame for the model.

Tomorrow is one of the most important days of the residency as we plan on wrapping up the project in tomorrow's timespan. Our remaining work for tomorrow includes: soldering all piezos on to the PCB board, laser cutting the frame, assembling the entire model and testing whether it works in a cohesive manner.
