Capgen-v1 updates

• Per Dustin, ready to go for PR for UFS

  • They’ll start looking at it today

• Documentation

  • Dom reviewed
  • Courtney added some stuff about constituents
  • Should we modify the ccpp-doc stuff to be more generic?
    • We all basically agree that that would be nice, but not likely to happen right now.
    • Maybe it’s just a bridge we cross if we ever get other participant models that don’t already have things documented
  • Dom’s going to run through Claude and get a “common errors, common solutions” section
  • Need to remove / update debugging section
  • Dom has been asked to add info about multi-instance

• Mike out for the next 3 weeks

  • We have his blessing to merge the documentation stuff

• Name collision issue & PR

  • Courtney & Haipeng to make sure it’s not an issue in v1
  • If not, can merge this without super in-depth review

• UCAR enterprise github stuff

  • If we want people from NOAA, Navy, etc to be added to NCAR/ccpp-framework, we may need to move it out of “NCAR”
  • Non-NCAR staff can currently be admins, but there might be a change in that in the fall
  • If we need to move this… where?
    • “CCPP_project”?
