Collections and Maps
A world can hold several collections, and each collection can hold several named maps ("The Court", "The Docks", "Who owes whom"). Each map has its own people, its own lines and its own layout. The same person can stand on more than one map, in a different place on each.
Nothing is made for you. Every collection, and every map in it, is one somebody added.
The strip above the map has one tab per map in the collection you're looking at.

| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| A tab | Shows that map. |
| + | Adds a new, empty map to this collection and asks for its name. |
| Eye | Hides the map you're on from the players, or shows it to them. GM only. |
| Pencil | Renames the map you're on. |
| Bin | Deletes the map you're on, and everyone on it. The other maps in the collection are untouched. |
Drag a tab along the strip to move it. With a tab focused, you can also hold Ctrl and press the left or right arrow key. The order is the whole table's: everyone sees the maps in the order you leave them in.
A new map starts out hidden from the players. The GM shows it with the eye when it's ready, and can hide it again at any time. Hiding a map doesn't change anything on it. The people, lines and layout stay exactly as they are.
In the picture above, Who owes whom is the map being looked at, and its eye has a line through it: it's hidden. A player looking at the same collection sees only the maps that have been shown to them:

A player who opens a collection with no maps shown to them yet is told so.
Hidden maps are hidden from view, not encrypted. As with anything hidden in Foundry, a determined player with the browser console can still read them.
The Collections button on the window's title bar lists every collection in the world and offers to make a new one.

Pick one and press Open. Make a new collection asks for the collection's name and the name of its first map.
- Rename collection on the title bar renames the collection you're in.
- Delete collection deletes it, with all its maps and the people on them. Nobody's actor is touched. Only the GM can do this, and it can't be undone.
Making a new collection needs the Trusted Player role or higher. See Who can do what.
Each collection is an ordinary journal entry, usually filed in a folder called Relationship Maps. The module keeps these entries out of the Journal sidebar list so they don't clutter it. Use the Relationship Maps button at the top of the Journal sidebar to get to them.
Map windows you leave open come back after a reload, on the map you were looking at. You can turn this off in Settings.
