Does data leave the computer?

Saved links/settings stay in browser storage, with no built-in analytics. Site icon requests can disclose domains. Searches, online wallpaper, custom icons and opening links contact providers. System fonts and embedded branding avoid Google Fonts/Rentals runtime requests.

How do I move or sync my setup?

Export JSON and Import at the destination. Import replaces destination links. Copying index.html alone does not transfer data. Automatic sync is not implemented.

Can I choose the backup filename and folder?

Export follows browser download settings. A dashboard Save As picker remains in Backlog.

Where are Duck.ai, ChatGPT and Claude?

Their search boxes were removed at the owner's request. DuckDuckGo is restored as ordinary search. Existing saved shortcut tiles, including ChatGPT, are retained.

Where is recent activity?

Continue with these tabs is delivered in v1.5.2 beneath the tiles. It appears after a dashboard link opening or search submission, shows three rows initially and up to ten when expanded, and hides after Clear until new activity occurs. It does not read Chrome-wide history; that optional extension remains Backlog. Recent data is local and excluded from backups.

Is the visual refresh accepted?

Yes. Rentals styling, alignment, Picsum and the final four-provider section have owner acceptance recorded in Baselines. Safari, Windows and real touch devices remain unverified.
