Troubleshooting
Check the selected group and tile limit. Click All to clear a filter, including one naming a group that no longer exists. Automatic stale-filter fallback remains in Backlog.
Export before troubleshooting where possible. Do not clear browser storage first. Confirm the file/version, reload and inspect errors. Import a valid backup if restoration is needed.
For a failed Picsum request, keep the page open and use Try again after restoring connectivity. A fresh offline reload shows the solid colour because no offline photo copy is stored. Bing wallpaper is disabled due to CORS; Unsplash may fail. Use a reachable static URL or a smaller local image. Do not disable browser security.
Use Refresh icon for an incorrect cached icon. A monogram means no source loaded. See Icons and Logos.
Earlier automated Chrome launches aborted in macOS registration before loading the dashboard. Use GitHub CI and normally opened Chrome in Dashboard Test; do not repeat that failed launch approach.
Attempted controls rejected file:// because they supported HTTP/HTTPS only. Blocked attempts provide no evidence; owner manual checks passed instead. Localhost has separate storage.
Check Settings for v1.5.2 and use the versioned file. The pre-existing v1.5.0 tag belongs to unfinished feature work and is not this accepted baseline.
If Continue with these tabs is absent, open a shortcut or submit a search from the dashboard. It is intentionally hidden when empty or cleared. Browser history alone does not populate the standalone card. A storage-error message means recent changes were not saved.
