Settings

These instructions describe the v1.5.2 baseline.

Controls are grouped into Dashboard, Layout and Wallpaper. Paired controls align even when a label wraps; fields stack on narrow screens. Close and Save remain visible while the dialog body scrolls.

• Dashboard: tile limit, descriptions, default group, Show DuckDuckGo and Perplexity, AI companion and backup reminder.
• Layout: maximum columns, tile width, density and lock.
• Wallpaper: mode, value, solid colour and local upload.

Save persists changes. Close/Escape discards edits, including staged uploads. Layout lock blocks tile dragging while retaining opening and menus. Tile limits hide links without deleting them; Export includes hidden links.

Each wallpaper mode retains its own value. Picsum daily provides online photos and a Change picture header button. Bing daily is disabled. Mode-specific control visibility remains in Backlog.

Settings shows the version. If it differs from the intended baseline, confirm the file and reload. The owner accepted the Rentals styling at 327ff8c and the alignment adjustment at 814a2cd.
