FAQ
Use /reliquary. Orin the Artificer at spawn explains the safe order for modifying an item.
Mine eligible ore, gain XP, kill hostile mobs, fight players without farming one victim, complete quests and dailies, find hidden goblins, defeat bosses, or trade with players. Use /essence to see your balance. Read Essence, Economy, and Rewards for exact rates.
Use an XP Lectern: 10 stored XP plus one plain glass bottle makes one Experience Bottle. Master Clerics and Veil Overseer rewards are other renewable sources.
Speak to Malakar the Gatekeeper at spawn and enter the Boss Dungeon. /bossrituals previews the bosses and their material costs.
Every accepted fight has a 10-second preparation countdown. Teammates already in the dungeon join automatically; invited teammates and allies elsewhere can use /bossjoin accept before the countdown ends. If another fight is active, your confirmed summon waits in the queue without charging its cost.
Craft it, add normal/custom enchants, reforge it, apply direct-use orbs, use the Runic Loom, then choose either Awakening or Corruption as the final path. Read Gear Upgrades and Stations before risking a valuable item.
No. Awakening and Corruption are separate final paths. Corrupted, sealed, and awakened items reject incompatible later changes.
Important rewards, gambling payouts, queued refunds, and other protected transactions use safe delivery or recovery storage. Clear space and reconnect or use the recovery command shown by that system. Do not keep clicking a payment button after a full-inventory warning.
Hold it and use /backpack label <text>. Labels are 1-24 characters. Use /backpack clear to remove the suffix. Read Inventory Safety and Recovery before reporting missing contents.
Open /settings. Spawn Music and Boss Music are separate toggles, and warnings or ordinary ambience remain audible.
Build a Lodestone, Stone Brick Wall, and Glowstone vertically, then attach a named sign to the center. Right-click once to discover it and right-click a known waystone again to open your travel menu. Every player unlocks destinations separately. Read Waystones for the structure, landing controls, and travel restrictions.
On Java, accept the server resource pack and reconnect after an update. On Bedrock, the server needs the separately built pack and Geyser mapping for that specific item. The item name, lore, stats, and abilities remain valid even when its vanilla fallback model is shown. See Bedrock and Geyser.
Right-click a spawner to open its modifier guide, or read Spawners. Sugar speeds it up, redstone toggles control mode, Eye of Ender enables AI nerfing, and same-type spawners can stack.
Use /enchants. Craft-only boss enchant recipes can be clicked there to view their recipe.
Yes. Use an anvil. Matching books upgrade like vanilla books, and matching books can upgrade an item that already has the same SMPCore enchant level.
Yes. Same-type tools and armor can merge SMPCore custom enchants in an anvil when the right-hand item adds a new custom enchant or upgrades an existing one.
Custom-enchanted vanilla gear keeps its SMPCore enchants through smithing, including Replenish hoes. Full custom relics are still blocked from vanilla crafting and smithing so players do not accidentally consume rare items. Veil armor can still use normal armor trims.
Yes. Use a smithing table like normal. The trim changes the look only; the armor keeps its relic stats, lore, durability, set bonuses, and tracking.
Kill bosses for trophy materials, then craft the items from the Armory of the Veil section inside /reliquary.
Some items use menu crafting so custom boss trophies can be consumed safely without risking vanilla crafting edge cases or inventory dupes.
Yes. Staff can use /itemaudit <player> [item]. Major custom items receive tracked identities when acquired or first seen.
Important player cooldowns are stored on the player where needed, including Veil utility relics.
No. Custom holograms use the same 32-block visibility cap as player nameplates and respect solid blocks, so depot, item, boss, altar, forge, lectern, and table labels should not show through walls.
