Player Settings

Open this menu with /settings, /playersettings, /prefs, or through /menu.

Every setting is personal, saves immediately, and stays after a restart. All three settings start on unless you change them.

Drop Safety

Drop Safety is on by default.

When it is enabled, important plugin items need two drop presses within 5 seconds before they actually leave your inventory. The first drop is canceled and warns you. The second matching drop confirms it. A confirmed protected drop cannot be picked up for 3 seconds, so you do not immediately collect it again while standing over it.

Protected items include:

  • Legendaries and mythics.
  • Awakened items and Awakening Tables.
  • Backpacks and Expanded Backpacks.
  • Veil gear, boss relics, boss potions, and rare custom tools.
  • Ancient Scrolls, Warden Hearts, Druid Grimoires, The World Clock, and other class items.
  • Reward Soul Lanterns, XP Lecterns, Salvaging Depots, Agricultural Pylons, Mythic Forges, Ascendant Cores, and future SMPCore-tagged custom items.

This only protects manual item dropping. It does not stop normal crafting, using, storing, trading, or moving items in inventories.

Spawn Music

Spawn Music controls the Veilward note-block theme. It does not mute the quieter particles, animal sounds, or environmental soundscape around spawn.

The theme plays at full volume inside 100 blocks of exact spawn, fades smoothly from 100 to 120 blocks, and stops outside that range. A new player hears the welcome version when their season introduction begins.

Boss Music

Boss Music controls the unique theme that loops during a Boss Dungeon encounter. Muting it does not mute mechanic warnings, countdowns, hit sounds, or other combat feedback.

Changing either music option while its song is playing takes effect immediately. Click it again whenever you want to turn it back on.

Changing A Setting

Use /settings and click Drop Safety, Spawn Music, or Boss Music. The item switches between ON and OFF, and the menu refreshes to show the saved state.

If Drop Safety is off, important items drop normally with one press.
