Game Client Manage Mods

Mods are downloaded from the official ModDB. RiftLauncher can install, update and uninstall them in a few clicks.

Installing mods

Go to the Mods page, click the mod you want, then click install. It installs onto whichever installation is selected in the left menu. Watch: installing a mod

What the install button colors mean

Color	Meaning	Example
🟩 Green	Fully compatible: the author listed both your installation's version and patch as compatible.	Mod 1.20.4, Installation 1.20.4
🟨 Yellow	Should be compatible: the author listed your installation's version, but not the specific patch.	Mod 1.20.X, Installation 1.20.4
🟥 Red	Not compatible: the author never listed your installation's version.	Mod 1.19.X, Installation 1.20.X

Updating mods

You can update mods from the Mods page, but the fastest way is the Mod Manager for the installation you want, which separates out the mods that have updates available. Watch: updating mods

Deleting mods

Open the Mod Manager for the installation and remove the mod from there. Watch: deleting a mod
