Using RiftLauncher is easy: a few clicks and you're ready to play any version you want. Start with Concepts if you want a quick glossary of the terms RiftLauncher uses, or jump straight into the Game Client guides to install and play Vintage Story.

Note: several of the linked video guides were recorded before RiftLauncher's rebrand from VS Launcher, so the app shown on screen is still branded VS Launcher. The interface and steps are the same; only the name and icon changed.
