Installation Windows

1. Go to the GitHub Releases page. The top entry is always the latest version.
2. In that release's Assets list, download the .exe installer.
3. Double-click the downloaded file. RiftLauncher installs and opens automatically.
4. Install the .NET 7, 8 and 10 runtimes if you haven't already. If you've played Vintage Story on this machine before, they're likely installed already and you can skip this step. Otherwise, grab them from the .NET downloads page: Vintage Story versions need different .NET major versions depending on when they were built, so having all three covers you.

That's it. From here, head to Usage to install a Vintage Story version and start playing.
