Specialist Workspaces
The ▦ ROLES tab switches the cockpit into a dedicated workspace for the way you're flying tonight. Everything is journal-driven and stored locally per commander.
- Mining runs start automatically when the journal reports mining activity (or tap START RUN): elapsed time, refined tonnes, yield rate, prospected rocks, core cracks and run revenue.
- Refinery yield — tonnes confirmed by the refinery, by commodity, with cargo delta and what you've sold.
- Prospector quality — best and average content observed per material, so you know when a ring is worth staying in.
- Limpet economics — prospectors and collectors used vs. what they cost you, cost per tonne, and net after limpet spend.
- Recent runs persist per commander — compare tonight's ring to last week's. Pair with the mining advisor to pick the mineral and the buyer first.
Session tracking with loadout readiness checks (are you actually equipped for what you're about to do?) and unclaimed bounty/bond warnings — combined with the massacre stacks card on LOCAL, your combat bookkeeping is covered.
For carrier owners: upkeep runway (how many weeks your balance covers), tritium budgeting for planned routes, market-order awareness and jump planning.
Body-local waypoint pins with heading and distance from your live position, plus searched-area memory — mark where you found each genus, see where you've already looked, and never re-walk a crater. Pins persist per body, across sessions. (Live sample-spacing distance during a scan lives on EXPLORE.)
