Trade Routes and Market Tools
All trading tools run against your local market database (see Market Database) — live prices, computed on your machine.
Two-station round trips ranked by profit per hour, not per trip — a great loop 4–5 jumps away outranks a mediocre one next door, because relocating there is a one-time cost. Each result shows cr/hr, cr/trip, minutes per trip and the full commodity breakdown: units, buy/sell prices, station stock and demand (thin stock flagged red) and profit per unit.
Every result also carries honesty labels:
- a confidence chip (LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH, 0–100) built from how old each price is and how deep the order book looks — trust a MEDIUM 56 differently than a HIGH 90;
- a conservative range ("223,425–852,768 cr") so a stale-price collapse doesn't surprise you;
- positioning time from where you are, included in the cr/hr math.
Search knobs: Capital / Cargo / Jump range are pre-filled from your game state; Search radius, Max leg, Min units, Large pad, Price age, and Type: Multi-hop chain (buy → jump → sell → buy … across several hops). Settings persist between sessions. Every station has a ◎ button — Autoplot plots the route in the game.
Press WATCH on any loop and the app checks every incoming EDDN update against it. If the sell price drops, the buy price rises, or stock/demand drains below your load, you get an in-app alert and a browser notification — before you waste the trip. Watches survive restarts, and after an alert fires its baseline re-anchors, so a collapsing price gives you one alert per further 10% step instead of repeating the first one.
Holding cargo a collapsed route stranded? WHERE TO SELL? (LOCAL tab, cargo hold) ranks the best buyers for whatever you're carrying right now — one tap to plot a rescue sale.
Where to buy or sell anything near you, best price first, with distance, units, pad size and price age. Name boxes across the app autocomplete as you type - commodities here, systems in every plot and route box (recent visits first), stations in objective fields. Click any column header to sort - closest star distance, biggest stock, freshest price - and click again to reverse. A Near box anchors the search to any system instead of where you're parked - your carrier's destination, tomorrow's expedition stop, home (blank = around you; it resets each launch so a stale override can't silently mislead). Search settings persist between sessions, and every result row has a ⧉ copy button beside ◎ plot.
Every mineable commodity ranked by the best sell price near you, tagged core/laser, with the closest buyer and demand. Tap ◇ on a mineral to find the nearest ring hotspots for it (community-mapped via Spansh) — one tap from plotting there. For live mining-session tracking (yield, prospector quality, limpets), see Specialist Workspaces. Columns sort like commodity search, and the Near box works here too.
Find the nearest station selling a module (6A Fuel Scoop) or a ship
(Python), via Spansh. Results sort by any column, and the Near box
anchors the search to any system - kit out at your destination, not just
where you are.
The full market table of your docked station with ▲/▼ price-trend arrows showing how each price moved compared to what the community last reported — spot a spiked sell price at a glance. Plus jump history, cargo hold and pre-filled Inara/EDSM/Spansh links.
Stations you dock at (and stations in watched routes) are tracked: every market snapshot and every community EDDN report adds a price point. The station market table grows a History column of sparklines — tap one for a full price chart (sell and buy lines, min/max, dates). History builds over time; a station you've never visited shows a dot until data accumulates.
Type any system (blank = current) into SYSTEM STATIONS and get every station — orbital and surface — sorted by arrival distance: type, host body, pad counts (L/M/S), economy, controlling faction, and service chips (Outfitting, Shipyard, Material Trader, Vista Genomics…). ▤ MARKET expands any station into its full EDDN-fresh commodity table.
