This is the main screen for entering the expense or income patterns. When you enter this for the first time for a new Budget it will contain a line for every Category defined to Moneydance with a type of expense or income depending on which button you clicked on. If you do not need particular lines you can delete them. Once deleted you can add them back in if you change your mind. The screen is show below:
