Direct member	Container/VM assigned to a folder itself, not through a child folder.
Effective folder	The final folder selected after saved membership, labels, and rule evaluation.
Collapsed preview	Configured summary shown while a runtime folder is closed.
Folder action sheet	Context-aware menu for folder editing, runtime actions, branch operations, and diagnostics.
FolderView	Docker view that groups native rows into folders.
Host list	Docker view that shows the native table without FolderView grouping.
Command view	Docker folder-oriented command surface.
Auto-Rule	Ordered Include/Exclude assignment rule. First enabled matching decision wins.
Bulk assignment	Previewed one-time multi-member move plan.
Starter folder template	Setup Assistant proposal that creates ordinary folders/rules after review.
Rule template	Builder for a common ordered Include/Exclude matcher.
Saved folder template	Reusable folder settings stored separately for Docker or VMs; not a backup.
Setup Assistant preset	Browser-local wizard choices; not server configuration.
Snapshot	Stored Docker/VM recovery point under persistent plugin configuration.
Environment export	Portable JSON containing Docker/VM folders and preferences plus Theme Workspace. It excludes custom-icon binaries, saved folder templates, and history. Sensitive by design.
Safety snapshot	Backup created before a supported destructive mutation.
Activity Center	Recent user-visible operation/event feed.
Sanitized bundle	Public-support-oriented diagnostic export with sensitive values removed/summarized.
Full bundle	More detailed diagnostic export requiring private handling and careful review.
Runtime integrity	Detection of missing, modified, unexpected, unreadable, or wrong-mode installed files.
Safe mode	Compatibility behavior that preserves an unknown native host surface without injecting legacy grouping.
Legacy conflict pause	Runtime pause caused by an active Folder View 2/3 installation; Settings remains available until the old plugin is removed.

Development (dev)	Prerelease testing channel.
Theme token	Scoped CSS variable used by FolderView Plus surfaces.
Appearance profile	Named Global/Docker/VM/Dashboard token and custom-CSS layers; one profile is active.
Managed theme	Imported theme source tracked separately from compatibility mode and appearance profiles.
Page diagnostics	Short-lived, allowlisted aggregate layout/runtime capture added to sanitized support evidence.
FolderView3 migration	Coordinated preview/digest/apply transaction for FolderView3 folders, rules, defaults, start order, and inactive appearance.
Lazy preview	Defers heavier preview rendering beyond a configured scale.
Adaptive profile	Recommended performance profile that adds workload-based safeguards.
Last-good	Validated recovery mirror used by durable storage when current JSON is malformed.
