Virtual Machines
FolderView Plus applies the same folder model to Unraid VMs while respecting VM-specific actions, autostart state, and resource information.
- Nested folders, parent/child ordering, pinning, and manual/automatic sort.
- Modern folder editor and collapsed previews.
- Basic search, filters, import/export, folder defaults, and clear workflow.
- Dashboard grouping and layout preferences.
- Live refresh, performance profiles, lazy preview, theme compatibility, and status presentation.
- Auto-Rules, bulk assignment, templates, backups, restore, and diagnostics.
Docker and VM data remain separate. A Docker export cannot be applied to VMs and a VM export cannot be applied to Docker.
The Settings table can show Autostart and Resources columns. VM health uses configurable warning and critical thresholds for vCPU and memory. These summaries flag unusual allocations; they do not change VM definitions.
Default thresholds are:

Adjust thresholds for your host capacity and workload norms.
Folder actions expose only operations supported for the current member states and host surface. Review scope before running a branch action and verify VM state after completion. Incremental reconciliation updates the folder without requiring a full page rebuild when possible.
Use Capture page diagnostics while a missing-row, overflow, or layout problem is visible. The capture stores allowlisted aggregate state for the current VM viewport—not VM names, UUIDs, disk paths, URLs, selectors, or raw DOM. Then open Settings Diagnostics and confirm the capture timestamp before exporting a sanitized bundle.
VM privacy can mask names/icons, disk paths, MAC addresses, public IPs, network interfaces, and external URLs. Privacy is presentation-only and does not alter libvirt or VM configuration.

- If the page is empty, confirm the native VM page contains rows before diagnosing FolderView Plus.
- If resource badges look wrong, verify current VM definitions and the configured thresholds.
- If autostart state differs, refresh inventory and compare native Unraid state.
- If Dashboard differs from the VM page, reset Dashboard filters and confirm both use the same saved VM folder map.
- For a visual defect, capture page diagnostics before navigating away; a later support bundle cannot reconstruct the previous viewport.
