Help and Troubleshooting
Start with the message shown in the dashboard. BlokeBot normally tells you whether it needs a channel, permission, bot connection, or feature to be turned on.
- Make sure you selected the correct channel.
- Open Channel setup and check that the tool you want is on.
- Check the bot status shown in the dashboard.
- Complete any Twitch authorization button that is offered.
- Open Alerts and read the newest active alert.
Select the round ? button for help with the page you are viewing.
Use the channel selector at the top of the dashboard. If your channel is missing, ask someone with channel-creation access to add it.
Open Channel setup, turn the tool on, and return to its page. If you cannot change the setting, ask a channel owner or administrator.
Open Channel setup and complete the requested bot or channel authorization. If every authorization looks complete but the bot stays offline, send the current status and active alert text to the person who runs your BlokeBot server.
Refresh once. If the page still does not load, note the page name, selected channel, time, and any alert or error reference before asking the server owner for help.
Open Alerts from the menu or the warning button at the top of the dashboard.
- Active alerts still need attention.
- Select Open when an alert offers a direct route to the relevant page.
- After fixing the problem, select Mark as handled. This button is available only to people with the required channel access.
- History shows handled alerts, who handled them, and when.
If you need the server owner's help, send them the alert title and message, the selected channel, the page you were using, and the approximate time.
