Channels and access

BlokeBot can manage more than one Twitch channel. Each channel keeps its own tools, bot connection, points, games, and list of people who can help.

Create your own channel setup

1. Sign in with the Twitch account that owns the channel.
2. Select My channel.
3. Open Channel setup.
4. Select Create channel setup.

If the button is not available, ask a BlokeBot administrator to give you access.

Add a channel as an administrator

1. Open Admin.
2. Find Channels using BlokeBot.
3. Enter the channel's Twitch login under Add a channel.
4. Select Add channel.
5. Use Manage channel beside that channel to open its setup.

The same list lets an administrator Start bot, Stop bot, or Remove a channel. Removing a channel is a destructive action; confirm that you selected the right channel first.

Switch channels

Use My channel for your own channel. Use Other channels to choose a channel where you have access. The current channel name appears in the selector.

You may be able to use another channel's tools without being allowed to change its Channel setup.

Let moderators help

A streamer or administrator can open Channel setup, then expand Moderator help.

1. Turn on Let moderators help with this channel.
2. Choose one access mode:
   • All mods lets every current Twitch moderator help unless they are blocked.
   • Allowed list only limits access to Twitch moderators named in Allowed mods.
3. Add people to Allowed mods or Blocked mods as needed.

Turning moderator help off does not erase the saved lists.

Control who may create channels

BlokeBot administrators can open Admin, then Who can create channels.

• Turn on Only allow people on the approved list for a closed list.
• Add Twitch users under Approved people.
• When the approved-list mode is off, add exceptions under Blocked people.
