Middle Crew Roles

1. Jib Trimming
   1. Keep tell tales flowing at all times
   2. Alert skipper if pinching or sailing too low
2. Centerboard
   1. Down on upwind legs
   2. Up on downwind legs
   3. Half-way up on beam reach
   4. Use few long pulls to raise, start pulling at block
3. Boom vang
   1. Tighten on upwind legs
   2. Ease on downwind legs
4. Spinnaker
   1. Fly when needed.
   2. Give slack on lines to front crew

Jib Trimming

1. Inside tell tale angry => Trim in
2. Outside tell tale angry => Ease out
3. Jib fair lead: in general, start all the way forward unless overpowered. Controls jib twist.
   1. Top tell tales luff => move lead forward
   2. Bottom tell tales luff => move lead aft
4. Jib halyard: raise 1-2 clicks if there's sail twist after trimming & moving jib leads
