Mast crew: Going upwind downwind

When going downwind:

  1. Lookout for puffs/lulls, boat traffic
  2. Lean on the boom to keep the sheets out of the water

Going upwind

  1. Lookout for puffs/lulls, boat traffic
  2. Make sure spinnaker/jib lines are not entangled
  3. Make sure spinnaker lines are NOT in the water
  4. Make sure spinnaker clews are on top, ready to be raised
  5. Sit in the middle of the boat, ready to hike out
