Frames Map 3D is released under the MIT License. The full text is in the LICENSE file of the source repository.
- 3D Maps by rainbowtwister7777 (CurseForge): Frames Map 3D is a port of it, from version 0.8.2 on Fabric to NeoForge 21.1.249 for Minecraft 1.21.1. It reuses the original's terrain capture, mesh generation and settings structure.
- Stalking Dragons: the NeoForge port, from version 1.0.0 onwards.
3D Maps is published on CurseForge under "All Rights Reserved". The original author explicitly authorised this fork and port by private message on CurseForge, on 2026-09-18, in a thread titled 3D Maps – Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge:
rainbowtwister7777: "I didn't have any plans but yes you can make a fork just send me the link to the fork when u do it please."
The authorisation is reproduced verbatim in the NOTICE file of the source repository, which is shipped inside the mod's JAR.
