Info TAB rewrites the name shown for every player in the tab list, so each entry carries the dimension that player is currently in.
The default result is PlayerName [Overworld], in green — red in the Nether, dark purple in the End, gold for anything else. Players who stop moving get an [AFK] prefix in creme.

Six published branches. They are the same mod; pick the one that matches your Minecraft version.

| 26.2 | NeoForge 26.2.0.57 | 1.1.0 | minecraft/26.2/neoforge-26.2.0.57/main |
| 26.2 | NeoForge 26.2.0.37-beta | 1.0.1 | minecraft/26.2/neoforge-26.2.0.32-beta/main |
| 26.2 | NeoForge 26.2.0.37-beta | 1.0.2 | minecraft/26.2/neoforge-26.2.0.37-beta/main |

The three beta branches are behaviourally identical to the 26.2 branch — they exist so you can stay on an older NeoForge build. Their src/ trees are byte-identical to each other and to 26.2; only the packaged NeoForge version differs. So if you are on 26.2, use the newest branch you can install and ignore this list.
It changes the display name only, in two places:
- The tab list — the vanilla player list.
- The floating name tag above another player's head — client-side only.
It adds no items, blocks, entities, recipes, advancements or creative tab. It is purely informational.
There is no config file to copy and nothing to enable in the world. Install it on the server and on every client, and it works.
| Minecraft | 1.21.1, or 26.1.2, or 26.2 |
| NeoForge | matches your Minecraft version (see the table above) |
| Java | 21 on 1.21.1, 25 on the 26.x lines |
| Dependencies | none |
The client is required. A client without Info TAB cannot connect to a server that has it. The mod registers its network channel as required on both sides, so there is no way to join without it. See Compatibility.
