Configuration

Applies to all six Info TAB branches. The options, defaults and ranges are identical on all of them.

The config file

<gamedir>/config/info_tab-common.toml

It is a common config, in TOML format. On a server it is the server's copy that counts: its values are authoritative and synced to clients.

In-game screen

Mods → Info TAB → Config. Covers the boolean options and the colours. The AFK timeout is the one setting it does not expose — see below.

Options

[general.customization]

[general.dimensionColors]

perDimColor	boolean	true	Master switch for per-dimension colours. When false, every dimension uses defaultColor and the tables below are ignored.

[general.moddedDimensions]

moddedDimensions	list of strings	[]	This option does nothing. No code reads it. To colour a modded dimension use customColors, and to rename it use dimAliases.
dimAliases	list of strings	[]	Entries of the form namespace:path:Alias. Used by %dim:name%.

[general.extra]

customColors	list of strings	[]	Entries of the form namespace:path:#RRGGBB or namespace:path:colourname.

List entries must contain at least three colon-separated parts, and the dimension part must match namespace:path using lowercase letters, digits and underscores. The alias or colour itself may contain colons, because only the first two segments are treated as the dimension id.

The AFK timeout is file-only

afkTimeoutMinutes cannot be changed from the config screen or from /infotab. It is a TOML-only setting, and unlike the other options it has no translation key, so on the screen it would appear as the raw key name anyway. Edit it in the file.

The value is read live on every check, so a change takes effect without restarting the server.

Editing the file by hand

Safe while the server is stopped. Note that /infotab reload prints "Configuration reloaded." but does not actually re-read the file — see Commands.
