3D Software Design Application

Using ThreeJS, we could build an app that allows users to start their own 3D projects. While this could be used for anything needing 3D modeling, we could design features for facilitating using the 3D space to design software. Most of the challenge would include making an editor interface; there's code out there for displaying everything and being able to navigate through it. We would allow the creation of projects and the app would just be hosted on a straightforward server. I know of at least one open source project that could give us a working start.

The goal of this is to provide a way to design software in real space, rather than on flat paper or as a list of ideas. If an algorithm or structure can be very well scaffolded or animated and understood in 3D space, the process of coding could go very well.
