Trader Joe's Mobile App

Main Idea

This would be a mobile app for Trader Joe’s that makes it easier to browse products and plan what to buy before going to the store. Currently, Trader Joe’s does not have a mobile app, and their website can be a little inconvenient to use on a phone. Also, I usually find out about new or seasonal products through social media rather than directly from Trader Joe’s. I thought it would be useful to have an app where users could easily discover these products, search for items, save their favorites, and create a shopping list all in one place.

Scope

This would be implemented as a mobile app for iOS and/or Android. The main features would include browsing and searching for Trader Joe’s products, viewing product details, saving favorite products, and creating a shopping list. For the bare minimum, users should be able to browse products, search for an item, and add or remove items from their shopping list.

Possible Extra Things That Could Be Added Or Dropped

Some extra features could include finding nearby Trader Joe’s stores, showing nutrition information, and recommending products based on favorites. We could also add notifications when new or seasonal products become available.
