MyPrompt

MyPrompt is Chief's daily desktop workspace for prompt engineering. It turns a rough idea into a structured prompt ready to hand to an LLM, with three distinct tools and a terminal-style UI.

The app offers two ways to refine an idea:

  • Transform is a deterministic, zero-network scaffold. It detects intent, applies a persona, and wraps the prompt in a compiler profile for Claude, Codex, Gemini, or Grok. No API key is needed.
  • Optimizer is LLM-backed. It produces either a structured Super Prompt (six markdown sections) or a validated Coding Brief (an eight-section agent handoff with a hard validator, V1–V14).

A third tool, Evaluator, scores any prompt with an LLM-as-a-judge across four weighted dimensions.

Everything runs from the repository root as a standalone Electron + Prisma + TypeScript project. No build, test, or runtime step depends on the surrounding Monorepo.

Key entry points

  • Desktop main process: desktop/main.ts
  • Desktop renderer: desktop/renderer/renderer.ts
  • Core product logic: lib/
  • Data model: prisma/schema.prisma
