No. It runs the Void Linux userspace through PRoot.
No, provided you install it as an update over the existing package. Do not uninstall or clear app data. The package ID and release certificate must match.
Android can install the newest official APK directly over an older official version; intermediate versions are not required. The current update still downloads the full APK. A smaller in-application delta updater is planned for a future release but is not part of 0.1.5.
The persistent Linux home is /home/nobrain. Android-visible files are under
/sdcard, including /sdcard/Download.
Every installation uses the Linux login user nobrain. The exported key path
is Android's shared Download/NoBrain-SSH directory and does not depend on a
host username.
SSH can manage packages inside the Linux guest. Android APK installation still requires Android's package installer confirmation unless the device grants special system-management privileges, which NoBrain does not request.
WPS performs an internal ownership/mode check that does not understand the
UID/GID presentation of Android shared storage inside PRoot. Export to
/home/nobrain/Documents/WPS-Export first.
The normal Chromium sandbox is unavailable in the current PRoot environment. The warning is safer than hiding it with testing flags or invalid Google API credentials that can break authentication.
Both nobrain and root initially use nobrain. Change them:
