Draggable Input Bar

The draggable input bar lets you move the command input area within your MUSHclient layout. It uses your input font and the current miniwindow color theme. This feature is part of the main output layout plugin.

Enable or disable the bar

Type:

aard input

When you first enable it, the bar appears below the main output area and matches its width. Type aard input again to restore the standard input bar at the bottom of the client.

Move the bar

Hold Alt and drag it.

This detaches the bar from the main output area. Its position is saved when you release it.

Without holding Alt, clicking places the text cursor, and dragging selects text as usual.

Return the bar to the main output area

Right-click the input bar and select Reset input bar. This attaches it below the main output area again and restores the matching width.

While attached, the bar follows changes to the main output area's position and width.

Text and size

The dotted vertical line marks 80 characters. It is a visual guide, not an input limit.

The bar uses your existing command-window height settings. If automatic resizing is enabled, it grows to show multiple lines and shrinks when fewer lines are needed, as shown in the demo video. See the input bar resizing settings.
