Sign an Agreement
This guide is for someone who received a graphsign.ink invitation. You do not need to create a normal workspace account to use the guest signing flow.
- Open the invitation sent to your email address.
- Follow its signing link.
- Check the sender, agreement title, and document content. If anything is unexpected, contact the sender through a known channel.
- Read the electronic-record disclosure and consent step before accepting it.
A signing link provides access to your task. Keep it private and do not forward it or publish it in an issue report.
- Request the email verification code through the portal.
- Check the invited email inbox, including spam.
- Enter the six-digit code and submit it.
- If the code expires or is rejected, request a fresh code and use the most recent one.
Email OTP checks access to the invited mailbox. It is different from the authenticator MFA used when signing in to a workspace.
- Read the entire agreement before signing.
- Fill in your assigned fields. Required fields must be complete; correct any validation messages.
- For the signature, use an offered method: draw it, type it, or upload a signature image.
- Review your entries and the signature preview.
- Accept the required signing consent and choose the final completion action only when ready.
Signing records your decision on the agreement. If you disagree or need a correction, contact the sender before completing it.
Use the decline option when you choose not to sign and provide the requested reason. A correction to document content is normally handled by the sender through a revised workflow, rather than by editing the sender's text in the portal.
With multiple signers, your completion may leave the agreement waiting for others. Once all required tasks are complete and the final file is available, use the authorized download link or completion notification to obtain it. Verify the final document and retain it as needed.
If the link is expired, cancelled, already completed, or not your active sequential turn, contact the sender. See Troubleshooting and Cryptographic Signing and Verification.
If you are an assigned recipient with a workspace account, open the Agreements view for work waiting for you and choose Sign on the relevant agreement. The application creates an authorized signing session and opens the recipient experience. Being signed in does not authorize signing for another person, and your assigned fields and workflow checks still apply.
