How to Download LCD Files

LukeHenry04 edited this page May 22, 2026 · 11 revisions

Main Code Files

/Code/25-26/LCD_DisplayWidgets/

  • Directory containing the current Arduino C++ files for the LCD display.
  • You can git clone the entire repo or download it as a zip,
  • Or for testing, download each of the files individually and put them into the arduino sketch folder.
  • If you want to commit changes, you will need to set up git with SSH or use GitHub Desktop, which both require downloading the entire repo.

Once you've installed the repo (or a folder containing the .ino, .cpp, and .h files) you can open LCD_25-26.ino in the Arduino editor

Required Libraries - Download .zip files and unpack in the Arduino IDE.

Adafruit GFX

  • General graphics library for LCD boards.

Modified Adafruit RA8875

  • Library specifc to the driver boards we are using. We are currently using a modified version found in ./libraries/ that contains an added function for drawing Bezier curves. You can download the .zip file directly, and unpack it inside the Arduino editor.

Adafruit BusIO

  • IO communication library used for communicating with the driver board.

In the editor, for each library, go to Sketch --> Include Library --> Add .ZIP Library... and select the .zip file containing each library.
