04/25/26

• Lost My very valuable butterknife Please I need it back
• Also tested magnet coffin and pulled out magnet from deadman buoy (very rusty)
• Portal questions

05/07/26

• Soldered short male wires to bulkhead for big box
• Soldered Servo to long, ~ 3m cable
• Science is green

05/09/26

• Epoxied servo/DMB box bulkheads and 3D printed wire holder
• Worked on fixing ultrasonic sensor code and wiring

05/10/26

• Pool test day
• DMB box did not leak, electromagnet strength is weak and buoy release is delayed
• Servo box leaked after 8 mins 14 ft underwater 1st attempt, did not leak after 5 mins 14 ft underwater 2nd attempt, electronics not attempted

Things to fix based on pool test:

• Bring weights that can attach more easily to the box
• When designing 3d models to attach to the outside of the box, make sure to leave slots to more easily attach the testing weights to the box.

• Realized the joysticks(Jituihom HKD-FW24) can only move in 4 directions, no diagonals. Testing resulted in no output and could not find a data sheet for the device.

• Could not get readings from joysticks(Jituihom HKD-FW24) using multimeters
• Practiced LCD widget coding
• Presented to high schoolers

• Electromagnet works with DMB circuit now!
• Room organization
• 3D printing guide page added

Pooltest 5/30 Weekend

• Stronger magnet, no residual magnetism
• Interior bulkhead coffins for resin

10/03/26

• Added new members to Github, Fusion (still need to add to Hub)
• Accounted for hall effect sensors, working 12V battery (6V batteries broken), LCD screen, DMB

• New members added to Autodesk Fusion
• New member projects: Autodesk CADing and 3D printing + LCD screen code
• Considered using D-pad instead of joystick
  • Pros: Michael wants it, easier to waterproof, might be easier to fit/use
  • Cons: Need fifth button for mode and sixth button for DMB, must be mounted to sub and ergonomic + intuitive, may need button input instead of hall effect sensors
