Grilled Onion Blossom

- Brine overnight
- 45 minute grill
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. dill weed
- ½ tsp. dill seed
- 2 oz water
- 4 oz white vinegar
Bring salt, sugar and water to boil.
Allow to cool.
Add vinegar and dill.
Slice off onion top. Slice onion to approximately ½ from root, with deep infrequent cuts interlaced with frequent shallow cuts to produce approximately equal petal width.
Brine overnight.
Drain and dust with Cajun seasoning. Wrap in foil.
Grill for 30 minutes.
Open foil and allow petals to spread and brown for 15 minutes.
