GUI Overview

C&N Claims has one main window with tabbed pages, a plot panel, a few things it draws in the world around you, small HUD panels, and its own layer on the world map. Anything the window does is also a chat command — see Commands.

Hotkeys

Hotkey Opens
Ctrl+Shift+U The main window
K The plot panel — the plot you are standing on
Ctrl+B Boat sharing, while looking at a boat you own

All of them can be rebound in the game's controls menu.

The top row holds icon buttons; hover any icon for its name.

In the world

All of these are per player and remembered in claims_client.json. Switch them with the client commands below (typed with a dot) or with the buttons on the Player tab.

Command What it does Default
.claimsbanner Banner: when you walk into a city, or from one plot to another, the city's name and arms, the plot and the sub-plot you entered, appear at the top of the screen on
.claimsborders Border grid: a wireframe on the edges of city land within a few plots, in each city's colour, and on all four sides of the plot you stand on. Nearby sub-plots are outlined green where you may build and amber where not off
.claimsmarkers Plot markers: small squares over nearby plots for PvP, fire, explosions and mobs, and whether you may use, build and attack there; names and offers of nearby sub-plots off
.claimsplotpanel Open the plot panel on every plot change, not only on K off

The server can also highlight the borders of the plot you stand on with /plot borders on|off.

Plot panel (K)

Shows the plot you are standing on: city (or Wild lands), plot name, plot group, alliance, PvP state and price if it is for sale. It closes by itself after a short while.

HUD panels

Client command Panel
.claimshud Your balance and your city's
.warhud Live war score while a battle window is open
.bounties The public bounty board
.claimshudedit Move the panels: drag them where you want, the layout is remembered

Each panel hides itself when it has nothing to show.

World map

The mod adds a map layer called Plots. Every claimed plot is drawn in its city's colour. Point at a plot for its city, its price if it is for sale, and the city's coat of arms.

A city's colour comes from /city set color <name> or /city set colorint <int>, or the plot colour page. The same colour is used for the border grid.

The server chooses how plot areas are drawn:

CITY_AREA_VISIBILITY_STATE = ALL | WITHOUT_BORDER | WITHOUT_INNER
