command: version

displays the version of mux that is running and the date it was last rebuilt.

version()

function: version()

returns a string which contains various version information for the mux you're on.

example: > version mux 2.2.0.44 #1 [alpha] build date: tue oct 1 11:47:16 pdt 2002 > say version() you say, "mux 2.2.0.44 #1 [alpha]"
