Google Reverse Image Search helps you discover the original source of an image or to know the approximate date when a picture was first published on the Internet. This article describes:
If Check detects an image, the Reverse image search option will be available on the fact-check panel, by clicking on the Image actions menu.
A new tab opens in your browser displaying the results of the search.
When you search with a picture, your results may include:
- Similar images
- The websites that contain these images
- Other sizes of the image you searched.
