MMU Calibration
MMU/AFC's are divided into three basic classes (type A, B & C) as described here.
Each type have similar but different calibration steps hence the separate guides.
Note
In all cases it is necessary to calibrate the toolhead dimensions. This not only provides highly accurate loading and unloading but also allows for automatic calculations of purge volumes, etc. If you have a toolhead sensor this is very automated! Alternatively the guide will aid in manual calibration or you can review documentation for user submitted values.
Examples of Type-A include:
• ERCF
• Tradrack
• 3MS
• PicoMMU
• MMX
• 3DChameleon
• VVD

Examples of Type-B include:
• QuattroBox
• Box Turtle
• Night Owl
• Angry Beaver
• 3MS

For calibration steps for type-C use a blend of the above
