Password reset and recovery

Forgot your password?

1. On the sign-in screen, click "Forgot password?".
2. Enter your email and click Send reset link.
3. You'll see a confirmation message whether or not an account exists for that email — that's intentional, so no one can use this to check if an email is registered.
4. Check your email for a reset link and click it.
5. You'll land on a Set a new password screen. Enter your new password twice and click Set new password.
6. You're signed in automatically once it's set.

The reset link says it's expired or invalid

Reset links only work once and expire after a while. Go back to step 1 and request a new one.

"You're doing that too fast"

If you request a reset (or a confirmation resend) more than once in quick succession, you'll see a message asking you to wait a bit before trying again — this is a normal safety limit, not an error with your account.
