Trash & recovery
Deleting a task or note doesn't remove it immediately — it moves to Trash, where it's recoverable for 30 days before being permanently deleted for good.
Restoring something
Go to the Trash page, find the item, and click Restore. It goes back to wherever it was before (its previous list/status).
Who can restore what
The same people who could see and edit the item originally can restore it — a personal task's trash is only visible to you; a household-shared task's trash follows the same household permissions as the task itself did.
After 30 days
Once the 30-day window passes, the item is automatically and permanently deleted. There's no way to recover it after that point.
