Enclosure
Wavie is a tower 184 mm tall and 88 mm square. The full CAD is in the design files.
Construction
A black soft-touch sleeve slides over a printed frame. With the sleeve off, everything is reachable.
The frame holds three tiers:
Tier
Contents
Top
The photometer and the pump
Middle
The rotary valve, its motor and the home switch
Base
The main board, then the RGB board, diffuser and base plate
Each tier's main assembly is a separate module held by screws, so one can be removed without disturbing the others.
Connections
Everything electrical connects at the back:
24 V power
CAN bus, for expansion
An input for each probe
The tubes for reagents, sample and waste leave at the side.
Placement
Wavie is small enough to stand in a sump cabinet or on a shelf near the tank. The six reagent bottles sit beside Wavie in a tray; the tray design is not final.
