Expansion

Wavie's main board has a CAN bus, the same kind of network used in cars. It is there so that other ReefMetrics devices can connect to Wavie and act on what it measures.

Two devices are planned. Neither has a confirmed release date or price.

Device	Idea
Wavie Dose	A dosing unit that corrects the tank using Wavie's test results
Wavie Power	Switched power and control for the equipment around the tank

The CAN connector also carries 24 V, so an expansion device can be powered from Wavie's supply.
