Getting started

Install and enable RQE

  1. Install the RQE release for your World of Warcraft client from CurseForge. RQE has Retail, Classic Era/Season of Discovery, Classic Forever, and TBC Anniversary builds.
  2. At the character-selection screen, open AddOns and make sure RQE is enabled. Enter the game.
  3. If the frames are hidden, type /rqe toggle, or left-click RQE's minimap button or Data Broker launcher.

Show a quest

Supertrack a quest in World of Warcraft, or search for one in RQE's Quest Helper. The Quest Helper shows the focused quest's details; the Quest Tracker lists watched quests. When RQE has authored guidance for a quest, you can also see its steps, location information, and any associated waypoints or quest-aware actions.

Not every quest has authored step-by-step guidance. A quest can still appear in the tracker without a detailed RQE route. Searching for a quest does not add it to your quest log.

RQE quest search by ID and Quest Helper result for an untracked quest

Search by quest title or ID to inspect a quest. The Quest Helper can show guidance even when that quest is not in your log.
