Troubleshooting and Compatibility
| What you see | What to check |

| No Quest Helper or Tracker | Try /rqe toggle or left-click the minimap/Data Broker launcher. Check the frame visibility and hide when empty settings. |
| A quest has no guided steps | RQE's authored routes cover selected quests. You may still see Blizzard's quest details or tracker progress without an RQE step sequence. |
| No direction or waypoint | The active step may not have coordinates, or a map location may not be available. Check that the expected quest and step are focused. |
| No NPC or object preview | Hover a highlighted link in an authored step and check Show previews on mouseover in Frame Settings. Object pictures must be bundled with RQE. |
| A frame will not drag or resize | Right-click it and check whether position and size are locked. You can still change numeric layout settings while locked. |
| The theme looks partly updated | After changing Azure & Gold, use /reload so all frames are rebuilt in the chosen style. |
| No colored scrollbar | It only appears when that panel has content to scroll. The Helper and Separate Focus colored thumbs are shown with Azure & Gold; the Config Window is always themed. |
World Quest Tracker: With RQE and World Quest Tracker enabled together, some quests may appear as both world quests and regular quests. This has not been reproduced with either addon alone, and there is no confirmed workaround yet. Both can still be used if you can tolerate the duplicate entries.
Carbonite Quests: If turn-ins behave oddly through Blizzard's tracker, RQE's addon notes recommend unchecking Carbonite's Hide Quest Watch Window and Hide Blizzards Quest Track Window options under Watch Options.
WaypointUI: RQE's addon notes recommend disabling Auto-Replace Waypoint if WaypointUI keeps replacing the destination RQE chose.
Please open a GitHub issue with your WoW client (Retail, Classic/Season of Discovery, Classic Forever, or TBC Anniversary), RQE version, the quest name or ID, what you expected, what happened, and the steps to reproduce it. Say whether the issue also occurs with other quest or waypoint addons disabled. A screenshot and any Lua error text are helpful; remove private information before posting.
